Commentary
Soybeans Posting Double Digit Losses Amid Product Pressure -
Soybeans are trading lower across the board on Tuesday, as front months are down 8 ½ to 11 ½ cents at midday. Soymeal futures are also in the red, Hogs Higher on Turnaround Tuesday for Some -Lean hogs are trading with 20 to 55 cent gains on Tuesday. USDA’s National Average Base Hog negotiated price was reported at $86.14 in this Cattle Extending Rally into Tuesday -Live cattle are posting an extension of Monday’s rally on Tuesday, with gains of $1.05 to $1.77. Cash action was quiet on Monday, with last week Corn Stuck Lower at Midday -Corn futures are still stuck in negative territory at midday on Tuesday, as contracts are fractionally to 2 cents lower across most contracts. Wheat Mixed on Tuesday -The wheat complex is mixed so far, as the hard red contracts are posting a Turnaround Tuesday. MPLS spring wheat is leading the charge, with gains Cotton Posting Turnaround Tuesday Losses -Midday cotton action has prices back in free fall mode, as contracts are down 154 to 270 points on Tuesday.
